SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:
The purpose of this bid is to develop a list of approved branded fast food vendors and specific products in various categories to be served to secondary school students. Within each category: bagels, submarine sandwiches and pizza, cafeteria managers may change vendors with a two-week notification to vendor(s). Products will be evaluated and will be deemed acceptable or unacceptable in a taste test. Testing dates will be October 16 and October 17, 2014. A formal proposal and pricing is due Tuesday, October 21, 2014. The School Food Services Department reserves the right to taste test and add new vendors at any time whenever it best serves the needs of the students and cafeteria management. Subsequent additions will be taken to the ECSD School Board for approval before a vendor may be added. Alll items, and all pages of all items, listed in Special Conditions, Section III, A must be returned with your proposal. Vendors should contact the Purchasing Agent on Page 1 to review these requirements.
