SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:
INTRODUCTION – Okaloosa County, Florida invites qualified vendors to submit responses to its Request for Proposal to furnish and implement a Purchasing (P-Card) Program to replace the existing Bank of America (VISA) Charge Card System. The current financial reconciliation software is “Works”. Okaloosa County has approximately 800 employees with approximately 225 cardholders. Okaloosa County’s Charge Card usage for the last year was $2,000,000. GOAL – Okaloosa County is interested in maximizing its annual rebate based on expenditures utilizing its charge card system. Proposals should address the ability to allow controlled use of cards issued to the Purchasing & Finance Departments for large dollar amounts which exceed our normal individual cardholder limits.
