SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:
Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) intends to issue approx. $10 million of airport revenue bonds to be secured in whole or in part by a customer facility charge (CFC). Okaloosa County (County) began imposing a CFC on December 1, 2004 in the amount of $2.50 per rental car transaction day. Bond proceeds will be used to finance a portion of a new and expanded consolidated rental car facility, fueling, and automobile storage facilities and a vehicular access road to serve those facilities. The total estimated cost of this project is approx. $11 million. This document is a Request for Qualifications to provide underwriting services for the BCC and Airport Director in the review of its bond fasibility study, the preparation of documentation, the pricing and sale of the County's airport revenue bonds, and other such tasks as are customary in such an endeavor. In order to preserve its flexibility to establish potential tema,s the County requests that joint proposals not be submitted.
